🧹 Ability to clear Intention suggestions
A
Adam Mahady
The ability to delete old Intentions and their associated Categories from auto-complete suggestions in the Intention field. It can be distracting / makes auto-fill less useful when it's cluttered with old Intentions and old Categories that I no longer use. Categories can be archived, but their associated Intentions still show up. Perhaps a toggle option to hide Archived Categories from the Intention auto-fill?

You can hide intention suggestion from settings > general

Nice! I don't think this addresses the use case though, which seems to be "I want to be able to see only recent/relevant intentions in autocomplete" (excluding old, irrelevant ones - where the definition of relevant has a few viable options)

Philip Young: I second the note here. Hiding the autocomplete altogether is one thing, but selectively removing certain Intentions (either because they are complete, or I don't want to see them again) is another. Certain Intentions are useful for autocomplete (e.g. "Personal Reading" or "Evening Review") but others just get done and shouldn't be recommended again (e.g. "write conference agenda" or "reschedule doctor appointment"). Thank you.

Salvo: I see. Wonder if it should've been a Todo list instead. People seemed to use it that way.

Philip Young: My two cents: don't try to be another to-do list app. There are
so many
it's crazy. Just try to be an excellent time management app. I would either have a way for people to "pin" or "save" an Intention (so the default is that they don't get saved) OR have them saved by default but have a way to remove previous ones, much like email apps remember previous email addresses, but you can remove them if you want. And perhaps have a place in the Settings of the app where you can edit the list of saved Intentions. Hope this helps. You have a very nice app.
