Philip Young Thanks so much Philip! I commented for this feature and it’s great to have a dev that listens to the community and implements what we need. Had a quick look at the mini window and it functions great - looking forward to using it! :)

The feature is almost complete. You can try it by downloading v2.11.19 on App Store.
- Go to settings, developer mode.
- Click the notes section below "rebuild data" 5 times
- it will show a text field below called "Feature Flag Manager".
- Then copy this `{
"mini_player" : "true"
}`
- Press "save feature flag"
- Restart the app

Philip Young this is awesome! thank you! it took me awhile to figure out which button to press to get the small window though
Philip Young
Ramith's Research: Are you using external monitor?

Sai
Philip Young very cool! Yeah it seems strange that we have to navigate away from the main tab to enter the mini mode.
Are you planning on adding a button to the main screen to enter that mode? Here's what I'm seeing: https://cln.sh/gV7D5pdf
Philip Young
Sai: There's extend button now!

This with the timer dial would be amazing, the small widget only shows a number countdown but I’d like to be able to see the dial in a mini window
Andrius Petravicius
Yes! Really need this. Just a clock with the intention and category floating above other apps once you start a Session.

I am upvoting this but the new widgets on desktop in MacOS Sonoma may solve this need.
Andrius Petravicius
Doug Cox: The desktop widget doesn't solve this. As it will be hidden on desktop behind other apps. Mini window should be floating above other apps, always visible and moveable anywhere on the screen.

Andrius Petravicius: What app do you use before where this is a feature?
Any reason why menubar is not enough?
Andrius Petravicius
Philip Young: There are few, currently been trying out https://www.blitzit.app it has really nice mini timer.
Menu bar is okay, this is more of a nice to have. I feel like just having something bigger with your intention and timer always on your screen could keep you more focused on the task at hand. I'm kinda too used to not to pay much attention to menu bar.
Tristan
Philip Young: RH Timer, Tomito

Philip Young: I used Pomello a lot in the past because it is specifically designed for that purpose: https://pomelloapp.com/

Philip Young: Stickies on mac. I will put them in the corners and have them float on top so they are not in the way but still seen. Simple but effective.
Laura Tyler
Philip Young Also I have my Mac menu bar set to disappear when I am not hovering over it so I can't see the timer there. A small window that stays on top would be great.
Philip Young
Laura Tyler: Yeah I've been increasingly convinced that this is needed. Menubar is not enough. I'll work on this after September iOS release
